Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
my sister lives in nycha, her apartment was raided by police, they had no warrant, they said they were looking for guns, nothing was found in the apartment yet she was taken to the police station, she was never read her miranda rights, they threatened to call acs on her, and was never told if she was being charged with anything. was this unlawful?

Yes it was unlawful. Thjis may be a civil rights complaint.
