Penal Law 220.06 is a class "D" felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree. You can go to state prison for this offense but also get probation instead.
New York Penal Law Section 220.06 - Criminal Possession Of A Controlled Substance In The Fifth Degree is a class D Felony. It would be highly recommended to have an experienced lawyer defending him and preserving hisrights in court. It would also greatly increase the chance of lowering the charges or possible plea bargain. We have substantial experience handling these types of cases and reasonable fees, however, we would need some more information before making a complete and proper determination.
