MY son is in jail on a robbery charge a class 2 felony if he posts bail an keeps outta trouble will the charges be dropped

No, making bail only means he can fight the case from the outside, but studies have shown that a person who fights a case from the outside has a better chance of winning or getting a better deal on a plea bargain.

No. However, his conduct after being released on bail could be helpful in either negotiating a better disposition or assisting in lowering any sentence the judge might impose upon a plea or conviction. It will also give him a better chance to assist his attorney in defending him and possibly obtaining an acquittal.
