First, you have committed a crime and can be charged with giving false information to a law enforcement officer. Second, if your son who is on probation/parole (it would be helpful to know which) must give truthful answers or when the find out, he will be charged with a new charge, violated on his probation/parole and sent to jail for the remainder of his sentence and a new charge. He must give truthful answers! Don't let him lie or the consequences are going to be worse than the current situation. You should see an attorney for your situation.
