Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I got a speeding ticket in the village of mount morris NY 44 in a 30mph zone by stalker dual radar. I have a clean record and paying a lot of insurance, is there any way i can at least get the points off?
(i think the radar was wrong or locked onto a different car because i was going 60)

You have two options 1]"plea-bargain"to a lessor offense with fewer or no points,2]a trial. At trial under N.Y.S. law a speeding conviction can be effectuated by a trained officer's estimation or by the use of a properly functioning speed detection devise. This is a hard burden to overcome.
