Speedy Trial?
I was arrested for embezellment on 10/04. Was arrigned, am out on bail and nothing has happened since. What is the time limit for bringing this before a grand jury? What constitutes a speedy trial? Thanks.

If its a felony, the speedy trial period is 6 months, usually calculated as 184 days. However, if your attorney consented to any adjournment, that time is not counted against the speedy trial period.
