Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
speedy trial
whether or not a certificate of readiness must be served upon the court and defense councel?
Whether or not once a certificate of readiness has been withdrawn, when the people become ready again whether or not they must file another certificate of readiness?
Is there a similarity between civil and criminal cases in regards to a certificate of readiness?
Please provide me with the case citation or statutues that govern these questions.

Re: speedy trial
Speedy trial is just for criminal cases. I don't understand much of the rest of your text.
The 'certificate of readinesss' is more of a civil court document.
