Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
If a state trooper is parked in the wood's with no lights on and the car is not visable and he/she steps out onto the trail to stop you is that intrapment or legal?

Entrapment is when the police pressure someone into committing a crime he would not have otherwise been willing to commit. The situation you describe doesn't even remotely resemble entrapment.
