Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
is there a statue of limitation?
My fiancé was in a wrong place at the wrong time (was charged with felony, criminal possession of controlled substance) and agreed to a plea bargaining two years ago. He was supposed to be sentenced to probation but still to this day has not been sentenced. How many days does the prosecutor have to sentence?

Re: is there a statue of limitation?
There is a common law right to a speedy adjudication (trial) the why or where of what is happening is the issue. Speak to his lawyer for better information. There may be a number of good reasons for why the sentence hasn't come down yet.
Good luck.
