Statue of limitation
I was found not guilty in a criminal case .How long do i have to present a lawsuit.

It depends on who the claim is against. You may have potential claims against the city, the police officers, or the person who had you arrested. The Statute of Limitations for some of these claims can be as short as one year. In addition, there may also be a requirement that you file a notice of claim before you can file a lawsuit and the deadline for this can be as short as 90 days. You should consult with an attorney as soon as possible to determine deadlines that are applicable to your case.
