Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Stolen gas money
I accidently left my purse at a local food store and $180.00 in twenties was stolen from my wallet. I have the ATM slip showing that I took the money out just before I went to the store. A store employee swears she saw some twenties in the wallet before another employee started rifling through everything. Two employees think that the nosey employee stole the money and the manager want's me to get the police to investigate. It's been almost 24 hours, what should I do?
