My 19 yr old son was arrested for playing around with a stun gun in the hallway of our building, he was charged with posession of fire arm. Should I seek counsel?

Re: Stun gun

Posession of a Weapon is a very serious crime (whether charged at the misdemeanor or Felony level)and one which is dealt with very harshly by most prosecuting officials. An attorney will help to advise you on your options, negotiate with the District Attorney's Office and, if necessary, try the case. I would suggest you contact an attorney immediately.

Re: Stun gun

Your son should most certainly have an attorney representing him in court. Even if it is his first offense the chances of attaining a serious reduction in the crime and or a dismissal will hinge on it. This area of law is our specialty, however, we would need some more information before making a complete and proper determination. You are welcome to contact us for a free consultation.
