Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I've been subpoenaed to testify at my boyfriend's parole hearing... I don't want to testify and the charges that I was pursuing against him were dropped 2 weeks ago... what happens if I don't go?

If you wee properly served you could be held in contempt of court and incarcerated.

You can always plead the fifth amendment but you need a lawyer to tell you how to do it.
