Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

I am summons to appear in court for petit Larceny. I worked for a company and stole money from 3 of my clients totaling $1,000. I have a clean record, I never been in trouble with the law before. I am currently 6 months pregnant. What can I expect for a punishment?

It depends upon the court in which you're appearing and the position your company takes. You should consult an attorney to see if some form of a plea bargain can be arranged that will minimize your punishment. The cost of the attorney will be far less than the consequence of making a mistake in your handling of the matter.
