How much time do they have to file on you,on a federal case?

I would like to known how much time they have to file charges on you, on a case dealing with sending drugs through the US mail?

The time limit would involve three or more jurisdictions. If drugs were sent from State "A" to State "B" through the mail. You would have the statute of limitations for both those states. And you would also have the Federal Statute of limitations for any Federal Criminal Statute that was violated. The crime and therefor the statute of limitations would depend on the quantity and kind of drug sent. You didn't provide enough information for me to answer your question. The criminal act has been done. If I were you. I'd lead a life of admirable behavior. And pray that some state that the drugs passed through on the way from "A" to "B" doesn't want to get involved. Hopefully the drugs went by air. To know all the statutes of limitations we would have to know whether the drug went by air, truck, or rail transportation.
