Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
is there a time limit to bring a person to court after being charged in city court to the grand jury -this person was released on a 180.80 because they didnt bring him to the grand jury in 45 days so is there a time limit to bring him back to court or will the charges be dropped?

Six months from the date of arrest is the time limit.
