Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
how much time would I get?
If I pressed charges on someone in a domestic abuse case and the state picked it up and I try to change my story and say that I lied, how much time would I get? Worst case scenario and best case scenario please. Also, I have a felony myself from about 7-8 years ago and a couple of misdemeanors from years ago as well.

In New York, the DA may never charge you. They are so busy that they may just dismiss the case. But it is a crime. You probably will end up with propobation.
