Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
traffic tickets
i had an accident 9/4/08 in ny and received 3 tickets for no license, no insurance and no registration. i was only aware of the no license at the time. i moved the day after the accident to louisville, ky. i sent in the tickets pleading guilty and let them know my new address. i recently received a notice stating i had to appear in court and if i don't show up i will have a warrant out for my arrest. i have no way to get to ny and i was wondering what i can do. am i allowed to let someone go in my place, such as a family member or can i have an attorney go in my place?
