Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Underage Rape...
My wife is now 25 and was raped by a guy when she just turned 16, He was 36 at ttime...Her mother pressured her into not doing anything at the time because when this situation happened she got prenant by this guy. She now is starting to feel lots of regret to say the least...Can she still seek action against this situation since he did have Sex with a minor, or is it too late...

This is a difficult situation.
The best thing is to report the matter to the local police.
Even if the statute has run, making the report will contribute to her efforts to heal from this event.
