My husband was pulled over last week

in Suffolk County NY and given a ticket

for unlawful possession of marijuana.

He has to appear at court in Nov.

How serious is this and does he need a

Re: Unlawful possession of marijuana

A lawyer is always helpful and most times necessary. Since I don't know if your husband was issued a summons or an appearence ticket,I can not determine the severity .You may contact my office @7188340087 for a free phone consultation.

Re: Unlawful possession of marijuana

Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, pursuant to NY Penal Law 221.05 is a Violation. Depending on a few different factors it CAN carry a penalty of up to $250.00 in fines and fifteen (15) days in jail.

More than likely, the penalty will be SUBSTANTIALLY less. An attorney can definitely assist if there is any issue with the vehicle stop, search and/or questioning.

Why not take advantage of a free consultation, at least?
