Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
vehicle ownership
If I am the legal owner of a popup camper and my friend takes and sells it, saying that I put my signature on the back of the title, (it's a 2003 large popup), does that mean that they can take my vehicle? I never sold the vehicle to this person, regardless of whether I signed the back or not. Now they ''sold it'' even though I'm still the legal owner. What can I do? I cannot have someone else using the camper under my name! thanks

If the person stole your property you should contact the police and fill out a report ASAP.
