I just wanted to know..
in jury case where the defendant is found guilty.
the judge can ''set aside the verdict''
can the judge do the same if they are found innocent?
If not why?

NO, a judge may NOT set aside a Not Guilty verdict (there's no such thing as an "Innocent" verdict).
The legal reason: it would violate the prohibition against Double Jeopardy.
