Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

I was Walking down a street in Bronx NY city heading back to my car. I left my friends apartment i was at and started to waLK down the street wiht my girl friend to my car. We basically the only white people in the area, it is a bad section. I had a itch and itched my private area The next thing i know two men come up to me out of a car and tell me to come over to them(they had no badges showing). Me being in this bad area did not because i didnt wont to get robbed , THe next thing i know i am getting kneed in my privates and trown against a wall and then onto the ground. They pulled my pants down a little below my waist and found i had drugs on me. I am wondering that was this leagal search just because i iched my private area, i am thinking it is racial profiling because i was the only white one around. The cops on my arranment wrote in there file the reason they searched me was because i was white in a black neighborhood and we saw him itch his privates and us knowing the area we though he was in possesion of drugs. what do you think of this situation.

The police may have violated your rights and, if they did, the evidence will be supressed and the case dismissed. Of course, I cannot give you a definative opinion without seeing the paperwork and hearing what the District Attorney has to say. You should get yourself a good criminal defense attorney.
