Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Will a CRD allow me to get bonded for business ?

I was convicted of a 3rd degree burglary felony 7 years ago. I'm trying to get my own small business started, but know it will be hard or impossible to get bonded. Will a Relief from Civil Disabilities help this ?

If they have an attorney, he would be the best to answer this, since he is familiar with the case. Criminal law is pretty complex.

If your question pertains to a NYS felony conviction for burglary, it might be difficult due to the nature of the crime that was involved but I can't say it would be impossible without more information about the specific bonding you needed (if any), your record and other information that you would only want to discuss privately with an attorney. Have you considered other avenues such as a partnership with someone else?
