Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
was wondering I hear in court a lot of times a lawyer will say something about a thirty thirty clause or something, my guess is some type of proccess has to be done by a certain time or the case is thrown out, can you explain please, Thanks

CPL 30.30 is the speedy trial provision. On a misdemeanor they have 90 days to be ready and 6 months on a felony
