Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I work as a clerk in a small, family-owned store. It seems that almost every time I check for a watermark on a large bill, the customer makes some "joke" about how they "just printed it out" or something, obviously implying that it's counterfeit.
If that bill actually is counterfeit, does accepting it (and knowingly facilitating the process of counterfeiting) make me an accessory?
