Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
if you write a 5000.00 check as calladeral , pay the person back cash , but that person never returned check to us , and the trys to cash it a year after money borrowed but 4 months after paid back cash , is thas that legal . and how long is a personal check good for thanks tina

If he actually cashes check he would be committing Grand Larceny.
