Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
How many years?
My boyfriend killed two people he is being charged with one felony violating keno code 125.25 and additional charges + he was running from the cops, but now the cops got him and he saw the judge and the judge said that they gonna give him 25 years but my uncle is a DT and he told me he just might do 10-15 is that true.
and how much will a private lawyer charge me for my boyfriends case?

Your uncle should not fill you with false hope. There are a lot of things to be considered in trying to determine what your boyfriend's possible sentence might be. His criminal history, who the victim's were, etc. Defending a double murder is expensive. There may be experts and investigators needed, hearings conducted, etc.
