Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
In New York , someone threw a rock through my window . I saw him .cops didn't . Can I press charges or have him arrested ?

Yes you can file a police report and the police will then pass it on to the District Attorney for possible prosecution. You may file a civil suit to recover the cost of replacing your windshield.
