Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York
I am an accountant in a big bank. My supervisor is male. I am an Asian woman came from Mainland China. There are two people in my team. A Russinan male, a part time girl and me. The other girl and me were made to work on the male's assignment all the time during last two years. I was called to come in to work on weedends to work on his work. When I refused to do so, i was reported to department head as insolvent. No discipline to the male. my supervisor always picks up unimportant things on my workpaper and make me to redo the whole thing which resulted i have to work until 2am in the morning to finish the work on time. The male 's work was never reviewed and signed off with no workpaper. On December 2009, they switch the male to the other team which makes my workload double of anybody in the group. The supervisor continues to give me hard time and said he is going to fire me and get the male back. He gave me a untrue performance reivew which is the worst in the company and ten other people proved i was the best. and i was not promoted becasue of that. I complained to the upper management , then HR for sex discrimation and they said he was right and i am insolvent becasue i was not willing do anything for him. Now i am in more touble and under monitor of HR for insolvent. Can i get help?
