Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York
Hair
I am a bi-racial individual(male)who's hair is neither long or short. Some tend to say I have a Afro but I tend to identify as a natural. My personal hygiene is always clean as is my hair.Itis not distracting to the customers and it does not fall in my face or anywhere. My employer wants me to cut it but I don't.I am a model employee for over two years which this has not been a problem.Never missed a day but am threatened of termination if I don't.Help me understand my rights. In my mind this is some type of discrimination. Thanks
