Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York

About. to become homeless after 50 yrs as top doc

I was fired from a hospital after being a doctor there for 50 years. They claim that a patient reported me for falling asleep and insisted that I get tested for sleep apnea. The results showed that I had a stroke. My license to practice is about to be revoked and I will have no means of earning a living. ( I don't have a pension.) What can I do? I believe that the hospital just wanted to get rid of me because of my age and used this as an excuse.
