Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York
I was recently fired from my job for my previous criminal history. I fully disclosed my past, and worked for almost 4 months and now they fired me because of word getting around. I have no restrictions and my employer is also my landlord. so what can I do?

File a complaint with the New York State Division of Human Rights if you live in New York City you have the option of filing your complaint with the New York City Commission on Human Rights. Also, apply for unemployment benefits.
