Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York

Residents Only Park/Playgrounds

What is the legality of having a residents-only playground/park? I live in White Plains which borders West Harrison. There is a Silver Lake park in West Harrison which I've been to several times in the past w/o incident. Recently my children and I were turned away because we are not residents of West Harrison. Can I fight this?
