Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York
I want to know if i can sue my former employees for demoting me after maternity leave i had lost my baby i was a manager in a store and they try to put me as a cashier, also they didnt accommodate me when i was pregnant even after getting a letter from my doctor telling them i was a high risk pregnancy. I already filed a complaint with division of human rights and now a representative from my old job is contacting me wanting to settle with me. What should i do?
