Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York
work discrimination
I finished my MBA a few months ago, and since I was working as an Intern for a Japanese Investment bank, they offered me a full time job in January of this year. A number of employees at the workplace have made discriminatory jokes regarding my ethnic background. Also, the manager has also participated in the jokes or even initiates the jokes himself. In addition, since I have started working as an intern, my manager still refers to me as an intern, and other employees, a lot younger than I am, with less years of experience are getting all the ''right'' projects. I wonder what are my rights under these circumstances as a US citizen? What should I do next? I have started looking for another job, but co-workers have started saying that I will be replaced soon. I am willing to do what the US common law dictates for my case! Thank you
