Legal Question in DUI Law in New York

Hi, I'm 29y/o clean record except for speeding tickets over the years. Live in and ticketed in Saratoga Springs NY

I've heard many times on people getting out of there 1st or repeat offense DWI or DWAI charge in exchange for many different things.

I'm currently being charged with my 2nd DWI(blew .08). 1st one was 3-1/2 years ago (blew .13 lowered to a DWAI).

I have to choose a lawyer soon. I don't why, but it was the only time i've drank and drove since my 1st. I slipped up. I'm currently unemployed and this will keep me from getting a job for my profression (auto mechanic). I've been stressed out with this, and already have financial problems and having problems with my family.

I've talked to a few lawyers, and none seem like they even want to try to make any offers of any kind in exchage to drop or lower of my charge. I'll literally do anything from classes, meetings, pay all fines (as if convicted), jail time, probation, community service, and so on.

I'm not a lawyer, but no one really wants to try to give me any insite.

Unfortunately it's very difficult to tell you if the state has a sting case against you. There are many defences to dwi and there are regulations that must be followed. You need to retain an attorney to review discovery and let them tell you if you have good motions. For example what was probable cause for the stop?
