Legal Question in DUI Law in New York

I need advise asap

I think I am in trouble. I was drivink my drunk brother home and he started flipping out and hitting me I swerved and hit a guardrail. I was upset and I only live a few blocks down the road so I left him there with the vehicle. I then saw that his wife showed up. I then went to my batchlor party later to find out that my brother got a DWI Felony charge because they said he was driving because he was the only one there. He had spent 2 days in jail and his wife bailed him out. I feel I need to take blame for this since I am the one who crashed even though he was pushing me and punching me. I was scared of him so that is why I left.

Get a local laywer...let him know what happened...you should be in relatively good shape but it might cost you some money.

You should call the local bar association to get an attorney referral. You should be OK but police and prosecutors take accidents and DWI very seriously.
