In April 2012 I was sentenced to 5 yrs probation, $1500 fine and 30 days in jail for an E felony DWI. I served 19 days in jail. Today, my PO called and said that I owe 240 hours community service. I was told that community service was in lieu of jail back in 2012. Can they now force me to do community service?

The judges sentence is what controls. Order the sentencing minutes to see what was said regarding the community service. You can also contact your original atty for clarification on the sentence
