Legal Question in DUI Law in New York

Drinking Driver Program

I was arrested for DWI, paid the fines, license revoked for 6 mos. Was told if I took the Drinking Driver Program and passed my license would be reinstated upon completion. I took the course, paid the fee, passed the course and received 2 certificates stating such. Livingston Co. DMV said it cannot override Albany DMV decision for 6 month rovocation. Which is true?

Generally you are given what is termed a 'conditional licens' vy DMV and not a reinstatement of the full license - perhaps this is where your conflict lies
