Dwai - acd
Our son received a DWAI violation in March (NYS) under the zero tolerance law. He was offered a Adjournment in contemplation of dismissal and a 6 month license suspension.
His court appointed lawyer indicated all record of the suspension would be removed from his driving record at completion; along with payment of fines and fees.
Our insurance provider states the suspension will remain for at least 5 years. Which is correct?

Theyre both right. As per court records there will a dismissal and a sealing
Of records after six months but the courts and dmv are different... As per
Dmv it will remain on their records longer..
