My husband,here in us illegally, no license, got a dwi- bac 1.8. we are going to court in 2 days, only 4 days from arrest bail=250. do we need an attorney or is ok to pospone? help!!!! can they take him to jail now after posting bail?

Your husband is facing very serious criminal charges. As already advised, you should discuss your husband's case with an attorney. The attorney should be knowledgeable about DWI/VTL law and immigration law or its consequences.

You need an experienced DWI attorney as well as an equally experienced immigration attorney. Your husband may be facing both jail and deportation.It is possible that if his immigration status becomes obvious to the enforcement authorities that he will be held until all matters are resolved.
