Legal Question in DUI Law in New York

Do you lose your license in NJ if you get a DUI in NY?

Does NJ and NY have reciprocal laws on license suspension? I stupidly plead guilty to the DUI charge lessened from the DWI charge. Am I suspended in NJ for 3 months? 6 months? At all? Is there anything I can do now after the fact?

No. Upon a DWI conviction in NY you lose your driving privileges in the State of NY.

Having plead guilty to "driving while impaired" you are pretty much stuck with it. If you have further questions please contact me via http://www.barryblacklaw.com.
