Legal Question in DUI Law in New York

NYS Dui Law- License revoked

My husband has been convicted of DUI. He has been going to the Drug Alcohol classed for a year now, had limited driving abilities for the past 13 months and now that he just had his hearing, his license had been totaly revoked. My Question is why is it that the NYSDMV will not alow him get his license to drive now when during the hearing there was no mention of this to him? He must be able to drive for his employment.

Re: NYS Dui Law- License revoked

What hearing are you talking about? A refusal hearing? A court appearence? A trial? Please provide more information so that we can better help you understand what is happening.

Any hearing that took place also gives you a right to appeal. You should speak to a lawyer about this right away so as not to miss a filing deadline.

You may contact my office if you like anytime day or night 24-7-365 if there is an emergency or you wish to speak to us about representing your spouse on the appeal.

Good Luck.
