Legal Question in DUI Law in New York

Out of State Traffic Infraction (Driving While Impaired)

If a New Jersey resident is convicted of Violation 1192.1 (Driving while Impaired) in the state of New York and has his/her license suspended for 90 days in New York what happens to his New Jersey license? Is it still valid or is that suspended too?

Also, if the person convicted of this ''crime'' has no record prior to this, will he/she now have a criminal record?
