Holding attendance against promotion
For the last three years my son who has diabetes has been left back due to missing school not class work and not from poor test scores what can be done.

If his medical condition is affecting his ability to learn and progress academically, you could seek to have him classified as disabled and have the school district compose an Individualized Education Program (IEP) that takes into account his disability and sets attainable goals for promotion.
