Legal Question in Education Law in New York
Hello,
I am a part time teacher at a private school. The office there registered me (without my knowledge) to a seminar that takes place on a day that I am not working for the school. Do I have the option of not attending? Should I get paid if I attended? Is there any law that I can show to the office for my reimbursement?
Thank you

You should verify with the school beforehand whether or not they will pay you for the day at the seminar since it is a day you are not scheduled to work.
