Legal Question in Education Law in New York

Public High Schools & Safety

I would like to know what public schools in New York City are required legally to do in terms of installing telephones in each classroom. Is there a law that requires working telephones to be installed in each and every classroom? And, if so, how can I cite that law?

If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

It would be nice and in a perfect system this would be so. Check the school's Safety Plan which must be filed every year. The school's Chapter Leader must sign off and should have a copy available.

Unfortunately, I know of no such law or regulation. If you discover one, please let me know.
