Legal Question in Education Law in New York
Speech Therapy being denied
My 6 year old is not getting the speech services that were recommended on his I.E.P. Several attempts have been made to resolve this issue but the Board of Education(Speech Services) are not providing any assistance. Please refer me to someone who can provide me with legal information. My child needs your help please.

Re: Speech Therapy being denied
This is not a general question of education law that can be answered through this service. You need to contact an attorney or advocate regarding the specifics of your child's situation. A good place to start is Advocates for Children of NY at 212-947-9779. Another service is Resources for Children with Special Needs at 212-677-4650.
