Legal Question in Education Law in New York
State Education Department Part 83 hearing
Concerning a Part 83 teacher certification hearing, is their an avenue for appeal after appealing a decision to the Commissioner of Education, or is his ruling final? May I challenge his ruling in state or federal court?

Re: State Education Department Part 83 hearing
An administrative decision can be appealed as a matter of right to the State Court. It may later on be appealed to the federal court,
There are certain time limits, so you have to act fast.
You should retain a lawyer immediately. Without a teacher certification your teaching possibilities are very limited.
